"There are little towns where the wildlife has moved in and made themselves at home. For some this is a wonderful and enjoyable thing. For others just a nuisance, as their gardens are easy pickings and their trees are nibbled upon. Regardless of what side of the fence you are on though, it is still a beautiful thing to see wild life in a peaceful setting. This painting was inspired as, while on a walk early one morning in Gore Bay, I came upon a group of deer grazing at a local bed and breakfast."
