MOONLIGHT DANCERS

I came across this group of trees in a swamp along the side of the road off Government Road, Manitoulin Island, on the way to the ferry one day. I don't know why their trunks were twisted and bent. I guess life turned them that way. The curve of the trunks and their reflections in the water made them look as if they were in the middle of some sort of ritual slow dance. I just had to paint them.
