THE CLARKE CAMP, TOBACCO LAKE

Tobacco Lake, just a short distance from Gore Bay on Manitoulin Island, is home to a large summer population. While a little crowded in some areas, other hideaways, like this little cabin enjoy its own beautiful seclusion. This painting was commissioned by Blair Clarke of his log cabin cottage, built many years previously by his uncle Stuart.
